design
As a web designer my goal is to tap into the creative potential and to give a project direction through the layout, colouring and typography of a web page in a clear and coherent way.
But that's only the one side of the coin. I’m probably more of a designer than I am a developer but when it comes creating something for the web I always try to make my designs look as good in a browser as they are in a photoshop mock up. That's a learning progress but through the setbacks I manage to solve, I get to develop my skills as It is extremely beneficial for designers to learn and understand the development side of things and vice versa.
Having worked with different teams of developers i understand the need on learning the ins and outs of developing code for accessibility that not only allows me to have that knowledge as part of my production skillset, but it also helps me to better understand the considerations i should take when designing for accessibility.
